I'll keep posting. They came from everywhere. I kind of just found the folder again last night digging through old folders, and figured someone might like to see them.

I even have some Modern day wartime photos, vietnam, and even some WWI if anyone is interested in that.

I went ahead and zipped them in a .rar format and uploaded them to mediafire in three parts. (it's like 600mb of pictures and mediafire only allows 200mb max upload for free users.) You need "winrar" to unzip a .rar file.

Powerful images. This proves why I refuse to give up on film photography. Something about it...

Some great pictures there. The fact that for some of those pictures someone was even there with a camera.

I will have to get ahold of a binder my grandfather keeps and take some photos of what's inside. Its loaded up with pictures he and his fellow soldiers of the 734th field artillery battalion took while overseas. He has got everything in there from his draft notice, his landing in Normandy d-day +13, his journey through Europe up until VE Day when his unit was stationed somewhere in the black forest in Germany. It full of not only photos but newspapers, postcards, letters, his military documents,etc....its a truly amazing piece of personal history

Amazing pics. WWII was by far the most "beautiful" war, in terms of the machinery, tactics, and overall way of fighting. It was back when men were men and got down to the nitty gritty. No technology, not very great communications...they just did what they had to do. (Not that I don't respect today's soldiers, because anyone that fights for this country deserves respect in my eyes)

WWII was an extremely meaningful war as well, as opposed to many of the more modern wars. I used to be fascinated with anything related to WWII, and still find it very interesting whenever it's brought up. I wrote a biography on my grandmother back in HS for a project, and I spent days talking to her about all the things that went on it the states during WW2. Sometimes I still grab the bio and read through it. It was a different time period completely, thats for sure!
2006 Rubicon - high rock bumper, warn 9.5ti, and lots of stockness....for now...
