  • World War II Pictures.

    Anyone interested in me posting up some WWII pictures? I have like 700 of them. I could zip and upload them if anyone actually has some interest in them.

    Here's just a few of them;

Some days it doesn't bother me but others my heart races like a greyhound from the Vet after the owners realize that it cant race anymore and needs to die. Fuck that, find me some owner with big tits and I'll be cute and slow the rest of my life.

      I might have a few that are either reenactments or edited shops of older WWII pictures that have a high resolution that would work nicely as a wallpaper. Let me dig through for you.

      Most of the pictures are the size you see here. Most soldiers didn't carry DSLRs around with them.

        Honestly, dump as many into this thread as you want, I think it would be something cool to look at it and kill some time tonight.

                Alright i'll keep dumping them in no particular order.

                I also have some other old & interesting pictures that i could get to as well if i ever scratch the surface of these.

                I have some stories behind some of them, but obviously i can't post every single story.

                Examples;

                The driver of this Detroit Electric automobile takes a break from the promotional “Seattle to Mt. Rainier” tour to appreciate the incredible view. 1919.

                US Navy ordnanceman Jesse Rhodes Waller posing with a M1919 Browning machine gun next to a PBY Catalina aircraft, Naval Air Station, Corpus Christi, Texas, United States, Aug. 1942.

                Willow Run Bomber Plant in Willow Run, Michigan was the largest single-story war production plants in the world. July 1942.

                Waiting Room of Union Station. 1943.

                Steam locomotives of the Chicago & North Western Railway in the roundhouse at the Chicago, Illinois rail yards. Dec. 1942.

                Mike Evans, a welder, at the rip tracks at Proviso yard of the C & NW RR, Chicago, Illinois, April 1943.

                Mrs. Viola Sievers, one of the wipers at the roundhouse giving a giant H class locomotive a bath of live steam, Clinton, Iowa. Mrs. Sievers is the sole support of her mother and has a son-in-law in the Army. April 1943.

                In the convict camp in Greene County, Georgia, 1941. Blues musician Buddy Moss is playing guitar; other men unidentified. Man at left dancing. May, 1941.

                Hammering out a draw bar on the steam drop hammer in the blacksmith shop, Santa Fe R.R. shops, Albuquerque, New Mexico. March 1943.

                The hanging of the Lincoln assassination conspirators, July 7 1865. Poor old Mary Surratt is the woman on the left.

                Atomic bombing of Nagasaki. 9 August 1945.

                    I'll get back to the WWII pictures in a second. Let me just finish posting up a few more of these with the descriptions of the pictures. They're pretty interesting as well.

                    Some of these have been touched with photoshop.

                    Ann-Margret and Elvis Presley in ''Viva Las Vegas'' (1964).

                    Eureka, Colorado, circa 1900.

                    Fire at 413-417 Broadway. August 12, 1968

                    Jackie Robinson signing autographs. Late 40's.

                    Men are dwarfed by the Titanic's huge propellers when the ship was in the dry dock. 1911 or 1912.

                    Canon De Chelly. Navajo. Seven riders on horseback and dog trek against background of canyon cliffs. 1904

                    The Great Depression in the U.S. Men eating bread and soup in a breadline.
