            You realize that for that price, you could have the Clayton 3-piece (you wanted 3-piece anyway), the belly skid, and the steel you'd need to have someone here make you a rear support for it, and still have money left over...

            And x2 on RockKrawler being teh ghey.

              I was going to point out that this wouldn't get him long arms... but I just looked and saw the Clayton 3 link isn't even $100 more than the RK 3 link. Spend another $400 or so on the Clayton skid and rear crossmember and be done.

              Ed, I've sorta lost touch of what exactly you're looking for at this point in the thread though. From what I gather, you want:

              To mount long arms
              Ability to service trans while leaving suspension untouched
              Belly skid
              Not have to build anything

              Seems like Clayton is a no brainer here. I guess I'd say if you don't like the "box thingy", then buy some steel, a real welder, and get to learnin'.
