i had attachments to three jeeps (red, white, blue)
blue jeep cuz its what started it all for me.
the red one cuz it was a beast
the white one because it was my best investment in life to date. (also oddly enough i think has lasted the longest)
alex's old green jeep was un american and deserved to be rolled.Originally posted by Ktmracer419some people choose video games

Idk I might be able to sell the black Jeep. If I absolutly needed to I could. If I could take my green jeep back I would in a heart beat, I miss that thing soo much.-Caleb

I have been attached to cars. But the more you start owning the less you are attached. I could destroy the current Jeep and it would suck, but not from heatache, just financially.
I think it all boils down to how much time you put into somethign and how much time you spend driving it.
I need to drive my vehicles more

I miss my jeep(s) when it snows. I really liked the 96. The 01 was nice too, I guess.
I do remember watching it drive away being sad, but then I stuffed those feelings down and traveled across the country, which was way better then spending money on a jeep, I think.
I have owned 5 cars (corolla, 2 XJ, buick, and saturn) and by far the car I am most attached to is my saturn. Which is also by far the least awesome, and the most shittastic! Is it egg nog season yet?

I was so upset to sell te GMC for my xj. I couldn't even be there to watch the guy drive away with it. But, I wanted a wheeling rig and something a bit better on gas. The black xj i loved, but never really was super attached to it since I didn't have it that long. The dub I actually thought about selling (for five seconds) because I was barely driving it and I wanted something to beat up on the trail. Then I took it to NH and even though it pissed me off all the way up there (caliper issues) it fixed itself and drove like a dream the rest of the trip. Now it's a treat everytime I drive it. It is the best sounding car I may ever ownP8R

I've had my Jeep for over 8 years now. DD'd it through a lot of high school, all of college, and has now been a trail rig for 3 years. I've had a lot of fun times in it and learned so much working on it. As cheesy as it sounds, I feel like it was always there for me when times weren't so awesome. I was beside myself with joy the day I drove it home and I remember being so excited when it got retired from DD duty, but I also didn't wheel half as hard then as I do now...
I often toy with the idea of buying something else to build and thrash so my Jeep's condition doesn't continue to degrade... So I can keep it FOREVER and EVER. But as a renter, I just don't have the room for that.
I like to think I'll have it forever, but in the back of my mind I know I probably won't. It's hard to think about how I would feel if I had to part ways with it for one reason or another, it's like it's too complex a feeling to feel without having it actually happen.
Thank you for this thread, and I especially thank Zullo for admitting to crying when he had to say goodbye because I know I probably will too.97 XJ.

Much like you guys ive said goobye to 2 of them actually, one gave its last breath to make sure i was alive, and the other rotted out and was parked...even so it gave pieces here and pieces there to save my current XJ. i can proudly say that ive used, abused, taken care of and stood right beside ALL my XJs until they have no more left to give. i bawled like a little girl from the first one being totaled, and when it was taken out of my yard on the rollback...stripped and totally broke down i stood strong and gave it a teary-eyed salute as she left my company...and once again still giving, the scrap money was used to get parts for my little brothers 95 country....and with that i say...'muricagents
