  • Are you attached?

    Coreys thread got me thinking.

I would NEVER sell my Jeep. It would take an act of God I think to make that happen. I think I would live in it if I had to.

What about everyone else? I see a lot of people put a lot of work into cars, and then just get "bored" and sell em, and this has never made sense to me. Dont think my brain is wired that way.

If I wasn't attached to my Jeep I would have done a body swap years ago.

i cried when i parted mine out. legitimately, like a chick, cried. I still miss it. I loved that Jeep.

It was my first car that became my toy, there were a lot of good memories in that thing. And some stains on the backseat

I would have never gotten rid of it, if i didnt destroy it.
No worries, I'm not actually back, I'm just reminiscing about the old days.

ive put up a few feelers along the way, thought about swapping parts to the mj and parting/scrapping the rest but ive never been able to go through with it. theres just too much of me in it to move on to something else.

I would never sell my TJ unless someone have me a STUPID amount of money. But realisticly, knowing what they go for, FUCK NO. That jeep is fucking part of me.

I was attached, but at the same time it was the decision to keep my toy, or buy my truck to expand my business. Well i'm 25, the only thing I care about right now is making as much money as I could for later in life. I'll collect vehicles when i'm slightly older and can actually afford it and make them exactly what I want.

After selling my previous 30 cars. I cant say it would be that big a deal. The thing is if you sell it to get something else it kind of makes up for it. If I sold my Jeep it would be to get a different toy, and as long as it did what I wanted it to than I would be fine.
I do definitely regret selling a few cars, and I do have more attachment to the Jeep than most others, but if someone were to come along with a 4-runner on tons and 42's and want to trade me, it would probably be gone.

When i sold the "mangi hill ZJ" it was rough. I was all kinds of emo about it.

The black WK was a different story. I saw the Blue WK and wanted it so bad, that when i traded in the black one, i felt nothing but excitement. The Blue jeep is my dream car, so I guess it makes sense. I still feel back for the black jeep..... She was good to me for a few years, and i just ditched her on a whim.

Now.... if the blue jeep ever goes anywhere... I'll be so sad. I'll be buried in that bitch. I have 2 or 3 open CASH offers on it, they have all told me to call them when im ready to sell..... NOT GOING TO HAPPEN.

Deep down, we all know they are just metal, plastic, fluids and that magical substance that dissolves cash.... but I think it's in our nature to give them souls.... I think that's why it's so hard to give them up. It's as if we all believe they give a shit.

Used to wheel.... now..... not so much....
