Ill post pics when I get Internet back. No power still here and trees down everywhere. A couple of the houses in the neighborhood across the street have trees on them and a car is crushed. Trees and power lines still all over the place and on the roads. Our house in cape may is ok. Being on the bay side helped a lot since the ocean side took the brunt of it. Crazy crazy shit. The wind was unreal

Yeah, few trees fell onto houses here in Fairfield...big trees...and I can't believe that tree in front of Fairfield Town Hall fell...when I passed by people were climbing all over it.

I take it Milford had it worse then Fairfield...

You need to go down by the beaches. Houses are gone. 5 house on Fairfield beach road just completely gone. Milford has houses where the front just completely tore off. The streets were full of personal belongings

Holy fuck, I didn't know that. I went to work this morning first thing then drove home, when I went out after to check the area, the cops had the town on lockdown.

I am glad that all I lost during this storm was power. The impact it has had across the entire east coast is so sad. Please keep everyone in your thoughts and let's hope things can get back to 'normal' as soon as possible.

CL&P's tracker told me they were unaware of an outage in our area.

Outage map says 85% of East Haddam is still fucked.

This is still blocking my normal route to work. 1/2 mile form our house. I'm hoping it's back on when we get back on Sunday, but not holding my breath.
