    I done got myself a new Daily

    Just purchased a 99 XJ. 4.0L auto with 243k on the clock. Very clean and rust free frame and body but it does have some minor body dents and dings. All in all not a bad pick up for 1200 bucks. Its got a nice front bumper on it and he threw in the GPS he had mounted to the dash. Its got a crappy flow master on it that has to go but it may stay for the time being. Needs a valve cover gasket as well and an axle seal and I gotta figure out why the front speakers don't work. Minor details. should get me from A to B quite nicely. Major clean up starts tomorrow. Future plans for now are just to make it look like a clean stocker. Icon wheels are already lined up and hopefully a good set of ATs before we get some snow. a few pics

              Front speakers more than likely have to do with the contacts that signal the door is closed. Newer xjs came with a fancy shmancy speaker kill that turns them off when you open the door. But it breaks a lot

                Yea it's got a shitty head unit in it but I'm feeling a factory one with a cd player or a new nice one may be in order

                  The other possibility on the door speakers is the cables being broken inside the boot. That happened to mine. Or they were wired poorly to the head unit.
