Whats your price range? You could grab a certified 5-series wagon for like nothing (relative to their new price).

I can load this beast with all the camping gear you will ever need plus haul a 12 ft kayak on the roof. I get 30mpg and she runs perfectly. If you can find one in good condition BUY IT.

definitely a practical car, but i've had used vehicles with high millage b4 im looking for something newer and a little bit more sporty

New GTIs are kinda cool. Urabus has AWD though, big advantage IMO and well worth the MPG difference.

not sure what the big advantage is with awd? might launch better? it snows what... on average 5 times a year. im still gonna have a 4x4 truck and FWD is not bad in the snow if you have good tires

Why not a VW Jetta TDI?

The diesel jettas are known to get like high 50s for MPGs. It might not be the prettiest car, but it gets good MPGs.

I looked at that, test drove one... practical yes, but i think if i drove it for a few months i will be left wanting something a little more sporty to drive

for what its worth i HATE vw's. only fags drive them, don't be a fag. also noting, vw's fall apart; i didn't know this until i worked in an auto parts store.

One of my buddies just got a Focus too. I like it; its classy but sporty enough to satisfy that need.

I know a few people with the impreza wagons and I gotta tell ya... the interior space isn't as roomie as you'd think from looking at the car. My saturn as far more space. Just something to think about.

Most are going to be Quattro so it probably doesn't make sense to upgrade to one, plus the interiors are so similar. I also have glanced at them used and they seem to keep their value a good amount.

a bit i guess. the stick makes it a lot more sporty but it's not the fastest thing on earth. if you're looking for something 4 door and quick either the wrx like you said or even an 05+ legacy gt. 4 door, big truck, awd for when you get stuck in the mud at a campsite turbo
