1/2 the idiots on Craigslist list Grand Cherokees as just Jeep Cherokees. Why? Who knows.

I just inquired about a Jeep Cherokee for sale in waterbury...they sent me pics. ZJ. Good stuff. "Grand Cherokee" nameplate is even blatantly visible in the pictures they took.

yeah that and the other thing that drives me nuts is the spelling of said models:

"hello i have a 1998 jeep cheakee for sale." or "ive got a 1996 jeep grand cherokee lorado for sale with the 4.0 V6" its like holy shit you fucking morons the spelling is RIGHT on the vehicle and 90% of the time in your goddamn pictures just take a sticky note and write it down you mental pigmy.....oh and i shit you not i have seen ads where cherokee and laredo are spelled as i typed them....

I fucking hate finding ads saying "2006 Jeep Cherokee" No, shit, really? I have e-mailed a few people with those ads asking things along the lines of "I thought they stopped making those things 5 years ago, that must be one unique Cherokee." They generally get mad

I went to a dealer today to look at a 99. It was off the lot so they tried selling me a 2004 Cherokee, a 2006 Cherokee, and a 2007 Cherokee. I didnt even bother arguing/correcting, and just told them I was attached to the 1997-2001 body style...which he then tried to find out why so he could sell me on the "newer cherokee"
