kicks ass. love the feel and paddle switch.

Also loving that i can dig right in and it just laughs at me and wants more.
      no bogging down.

the only thing is, i wish the wheel lock was in a diffrent spot. while using it yesterday i pushed it in a couple times with the way i was holding it.

I normally buy the best tool I can afford but not with the 4-1/2" grinders I just buy cheap ones I'd rather have 5 of them that all have different ends on it then one good one. Not like a cheap one is any less accurate.
they are all going to burn out eventually.

I got the dewault 2pack was like $100 homecheapo had a sale.
I should have bought to packages.

I was just going to say make sure the brand you're looking at is 7+ amps and has a paddle switch... I've abused the snot out of our dewalt and like it a lot better than my el-cheapo or craftsman grinders. Good luck with it!

My grinder of choice is a 6" 15 amp Metabo with a thumb switch. They are kick ass grinders hands down. I have had a few 4.5" 11 amp paddle Dewalts. One still works, got my money's worth out of them. The Metabo is professional grade. I use them every day at work and they stand up to tough environments and abuse better than most tools generally speaking. If you can pick up a 6" grinder, it's a good fab tool in addition to a 4.5"
