We don't retail, champ, big difference, and I'm already open all day Saturday for the convenience of others. I would actually like my boss to hire more people but we have yet to have someone last more than two weeks here.

With the unemployment the way it is, I'm sure some people wouldn't mind working Sunday if it helped them pay their bills.

Most of the package stores i go to told me they won't be open on sundays anway, doesn't make sense finanacially. The law also doesn't force package stores to be open an extra day.

It effects more or less the stop and shops being able to sell on sunday, seeing as they're already open.

Either way idc, now i can just buy beer on sunday. It's cool.
No worries, I'm not actually back, I'm just reminiscing about the old days.

My favorite is the new task force to be created to monitor prices in efforts to keep things competitive.

My favorite part is how our government likes to over complicate the shit out of things.

if this is a challenge, i accept.

the stores now have the option of whether they want to open an extra day. it it'll help their profits then great, but if not they just stay closed and get the same amount of business they used to. seems pretty clear cut to me.

Phil, that's what I was getting at. There is no need for a task force, If you don't like store A's prices move on to store B, C, etc and in the end the store with higher prices will learn the value of staying competitive.

To be honest prices are the least of my concerns when buying alcohal.

i drink Cabo Wabo, Grey Goose, and blue label Johnny Walker. Clearly price does not matter here.

                        This is sweet and stuff.
Unfortunately, being a craft beer drinker I may or may not be able to get what I want on a Sunday, but worse comes to worse I like Pabst and Gansetts just fine.

I have to agree, price matters. Granted you pay for what you get, but if I can save a few bucks here and there without going out my way, than its worth it.
