This law will get you for possessing something you are legally allowed to possess everywhere else in the state but not cross the imaginary line.

What if your back woods property backed up to a school woods? You would be acting different.

I understand the law but to say you can't shoot a non lethal weapon on your property is pretty harsh.

That's like saying darts are illegal near schools because stray projectiles could harm kids.

They should also ban baseballs and bats. How many times you seen a kid messing around and crack another kid with either the ball or bat. Maybe basketballs too, I'm pretty sure that there is a far larger problem with kids getting hit with these things on school grounds than bb and paintball guns.
