CT wants to band all BB/Paintball 1500ft from a school

CT anti gun people are at it again.
This and a couple more stupid laws this year.

Now they want to band BB paintball anything that looks like a gun within 1500ft from a school.

Suck I have 4 schools within 1500' of my house.

There is no loop hole for owning such things on your own property if your house is within that distance?

That would be dumb, otherwise, it seems like a pretty okay rule.

These laws are only created so that people jerking around school grounds can get fined where normally people couldn't do shit about it. Bring your BB gun near a school and you get caught, state makes money. Simple as that.

to be honest , its not that bad of a law to have. to much school shootings going on, sure if will affect a few, but for the most part theres no need to have bb guns/air soft guns/paintball etc within 1500 ft of a school zone anyways. if your at your house shooting it in a safe manner, i doubt the cops would say anything, if you walking around the neighborhood with one, it will be a different story

its not about stopping shooting. its just a way to keep kids more safe. you can surely shoot a bb/pellet gun and miss a target and have it travel more then 1500ft, possibly hitting a kid/school. will it stop criminals who want to shoot a school up ? not anymore then the speed limit stops someone who wants to speed.

I don't really see a problem with the law..... If you had a kid at the school, would you want some kids playing paintball or shooting bb guns right around the corner?
