I was a Ritalin kid, talk about being a zombie! and then there is the depression, no friends, and all that shit too.... I hated it, but it did calm me right the fuck down, so I would stop trying kill all the other 2nd graders with pencils, desks, papercutters, and any other weapon I could get my hands on...... I'm better now though.

yea the shit worked for school. d's and c's through 4th grade. took it and was a straight a student with no social life and lost like 30 pounds. stopped taking it in beginning of high school and social life and wieght resumed along with c's and d's just barely passing. i think it was a fair trade off

Adderal is good if you actually need it but if you don't it fucks you up. I think doctors are definitely over-prescribing it. They put one of my friends on it when we were little and she didn't need. After that she couldn't stand still or even hold her hand out without shaking like a leaf. Then they wouldn't listen to her when she said she didn't need it. I can't imagine that it would be good to give a child speed everyday. It's supposed to slow you down when you are young and speed you up when you are older but it doesn't work that way with everyone. Drugs are scary.
