It looks cool and I plan on seeing it with a few people.

However, this is going to lead to even more people pretending they know how the military works, ROE, EOF, and how tacticool they need to look/act. It's bad enough how many people base their knowledge of the military solely on Call of duty, blakhawk down, and "The Unit", and then try to tell people who are actually in the military "how it is". This looks pretty badass, so I'm guessing it'll just make those who know the least, speak louder.
I can't wait to see how many people on ARFCOM are going to be decking their rifles to be just as tacticool as the ones in the movie with no regard for the actual usage of the items or placement for practicality of their personal usage.

Of course, that's just my theory.

Again, yes I think it looks pretty cool, and am kind of excite for it.

      These are different entities?

Also, I highly doubt live fire was used when other actors were being shot at.

But the movie does look cool.

          Will not be seeing.

The difference between movie and documentary should be distinct. Even if they're real marines or seals doesn't validate anything within the movie.

Basically using "reality" as a gimmick, much like tv has done for years.

Quote Phill: Do you drink lots of coffee? I drink it once in a while and I get varying effects. Some days it doesn't bother me but others my heart races like a greyhound from the Vet after the owners realize that it cant race anymore and needs to die. Fuck that, find me some owner with big tits and I'll be cute and slow the rest of my life.

This entire thread is a fucking buzzkill.

Yeah I'm going to see it but not because they are OMFG TACTICOOL MARINES AND SEALS, but because I want to see a good action flick.

For everyone one person on ar15.com with a decked out rifle, there are 500 that have a KISS carbine and won't change it. This movie is not going to bring anymore jackoffs to the scene because video games do that already.

And to say it's gimmicky is also pretty stupid because all movies are gimmicky and fucking cliche these days. You can't just paint with a broad brush about one genre.

Besides, it saves the production company money because they don't have to train or send the actors through boot camp, these active duty military guys already know what the fuck they are doing.

Whatever, I'm pumped for it and can't wait to spend $10 to see it.
