  • Chrysler Superbowl Commercial

For one, I thought this was a tremendous commercial, really continues the trend Chrysler Group started back with the Eminem ad in last year's game. For some reason, people have politicized this commercial, and I think that's exactly the sort of thing Eastwood commented about. What are your thoughts?

    amazing.

It speaks to the American spirit. We will not give in, we will not give up. We are a nation of hardworkers, thinkers, and innovators. We once made the best quality products in the world, and it is time to do that again.

i thought it was bland and unmemorable, only saving grace was that there were jeeps in it

I thought it was an Obama commercial which is ironic because of the bail out if you think about it

I saw it, I forgot it.
Only thing keeping it alive are a couple peoples posts about it here and there throughout the internet. I think the Eminem one was a million times more memorable. The song is perfect and I think it says something about the cars quality too. /shrug

I did think that it needed more car in it.

When it comes to American cars, we think power and muscle, i wanted to see a challenger come sliding across the screen at the end and take off with that magical roar of a Hemi.

That's how they should have finished that commercial.

The commercial wasn't about selling cars, as Clint Eastwood said:

It was meant to be a message just about job growth and the spirit of America.
As a sidenote, I thought the Kia Optima commercial was awesome

I don't care what the propaganda of the commercial was

The Man With No Name endorses Jeep, end of discussion.

i like that they didnt do something like that. its more of a wakeup call to america than an advertisment for their cars.

It was a great commercial, but working for Chrysler i'm hoping that they do as they say and make a change for the second half because a lot of the problems we deal with and the way Chrysler handles them are ridiculous and if they keep it up i dont see how they will stay in business.I'm hoping for the best. Oh yea at 1.20 the JK has no antenna, fuckin Chrysler.
