Have you considered bringing it to carmax to have them make you an offer on it? Even if they lowball the shit outta you they will go through that thing with a fine tooth comb and you don't owe them a dime at the end of the day. Then if you sell it privately you can include the carmax inspection granted they don't find a bunch of shit wrong with it.

I used to sell cars at carmax, they will probably offer like 3000 . Because its modified, they "evaluated" my dads pick up truck, offered him 1200 for it cause it was made in canada so its undesirable and my dad removed one of the fenders to something with a door hinge. They said it had to have been in an accident cause the fender was removed. That place is a fucking joke. Also if you didn't sell a car and they paid you base salary, but the next week if you sold enough cars to cover last weeks paycheck they took back what they paid you previous week. So if they gave u 500 then next week you sold enough cars to make you 1000 they would take back 500 so u would get paid 500.

when i bought my tj and i was looking i would have been STOKED to pay 10 500 for that thing. i think you should at least be able to get kbb for it. Drive it till it hits 70 degrees out, clean it up nice, and fix any imperfections and you will get that all day if not more!!!

theres some truth to what he's saying here... wait till spring and detail the shit out of it, And put a forsale sign on it and drive it!
