  • How much do you pay for rent?

Include details of your space. Single apt, shared apt, shared house, etc.

Do you pay to live at your parents house?

Edit: Also include location. Most of CT seems to have similar property values to me here in NJ.

I am at about $1400 a month for a two bedroom two bathroom apartment. Shared of course with one of my buddies.

Sounds a little pricey but we have a pool, hot tub, gym, club house and private parking. We also have a bunch of restaurants in the complex and a train station on the edge of the complex. I need to go into the city and drink, I can just take the train. Also we only pay electric and cable. Water and trash are taken care of.

4 miles from work and 7 miles from my shop. So it saves me a lot of $ on fuel.

I split a rental house with my mother, it's $1900 a month for a 4 bedroom 2 bathroom house, so we split it down the middle, all bills, etc. Don't know the square footage. We both live 10 minutes from were we work is it's awesome.

      Oh right, Fairfield, CT.

We split it. I pay a little more because I have the big bedroom with its own bathroom and walk in closet.

that is NOT pricey at all i guess i've been looking at too many homes in CT for rent...i am predicting will & i will be spending a little over 1k each when we finally rent a house, but we're looking for something pretty 'specific'

i currently pay no rent (thanks dad!) but unfortunately have to live with my dad and two younger brothers for the time being...

Andy definitely has it made. His place is super nice.

I'm paying around $2k for my mortgage and bills and trying to help cover that cost. I want to see whats a fair asking price for my two spare rooms and common area.

A lot of you know my house. 3 br 2.5 bath. The spare rooms aren't huge but everything is included and the place is upscale. Free electric, gas, DirectTV w/Sunday Ticket, Internet, etc. Shit, even the rooms are furnished.

About 20 miles north of Philly in Lansdale, Pa.

I guess it isn't that bad. My sister pays $1000 overall for a 3 bedroom and 1.5 bath house, with a yard and driveway. So I guess I gauge on that.

Did I mention I have 3 bars within walking distance. One being a craft brewery. The bar in our complex shut down about a year ago.

I just bought my own house in Plainfield ct, little over a thousand a month for the mortgage. plus all the other bills obviously. It's a two bedroom with an acre and oversized 2 car garage.

House in richfield utah. 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and 2 kitchens for $800 a month and with gas, sewer and electricity its about $950 a month split and me and my brother and roomy will split that 3 ways. So about $320 a month. Has a carport and plenty of room to put my shit.

Fuck your high rent prices of the east.

And I pay $125 a month for my shop. Which is going up to $400 because it is tripling in size. 46' x 26' with a bathroom, shower, electricity and internet all included. Plus 10 acres to play on.
