The Jeep Pickup (Gladiator) project has been put on indefinite hold at the moment.

The CEO of Jeep claims that all the money is currently tied up in working with Fiat-Chrysler on transmissions and small cars.

For the good news, he did acknowledge the strong interest in a Jeep pickup, so maybe we'll get one eventually

Only good recent news that I've seen is that they're going to introduce a domestic diesel engine.

Other than that, I've read that they're building a competitor to the Mini Countryman and focusing on designing the new Maserati SUV which is going to be based on the Grand Cherokee

at least they're fixing the transmissions in the new grands........

.... maybe they'll even get around to fixing the shit Ram trannys too, that hasn't been a problem for chrysler for that long
No worries, I'm not actually back, I'm just reminiscing about the old days.

The jeep wouldn't be a full size truck anyway, so there would be no detraction from dodge sales.

in my experience, jeep dealers typically house no inside info on any of corporates long term plans
