    fresh air is more better.

generally people who live in the country work at more physically demanding jobs, ie farming, trades....... there aren't too many offices in the country.

Slower pace and a lower stress environment.

My vote is for the country!!!!
No worries, I'm not actually back, I'm just reminiscing about the old days.

I just got back from NYC and I'll tell you that there are far less more Obese white people in that city than there are in Fairfield. I almost busted my fucking head looking at some girl's ass walking up the Subway stairs yesterday afternoon.

Obesity is a problem because people want to fucking Deep Fry everything and also be aware that the Body Mass Index scale is fucking wacky off the charts. You have to be 6' tall and weigh 150 pounds to be considered obese. I'm 5'11" and weight 230 and I am considered Obese according to BMI.

It's a scare tactic that people use, truly obese people make up a smaller percentage than what you think.

The quality of Air in the country cannot be questioned, so without a doubt it is better in the Country.

The other ones I beg to differ. Stress rates are probably just as high BECAUSE the jobs are more physically demanding. Everyone might seem really laid back and mellow and cool, but when you work on your farm for 20 days in a row just to pull in enough money to keep your house, 'less stressful' doesn't exactly come to mind. There are plenty of Physically Demanding Jobs in the city even though you may not see it.

i could seriously go on for DAYS about this stuff haha.
i know all about BMI and its innacuracy though (i'm a personal trainer) i deal with it everyday..i'm also extremely nerdy about the health issues in our country. i use the term "obese" loosely though, but there are clearly more people overweight than not, which is sad.

based on what i see on a daily basis i blame: lack of self control/motivation, and people not being educated enough on how to eat right.

it's so disturbing how many people would rather take a handful of pills everyday than get off their asses and change their lifestyle.

Okay, that I will agree with you there because this is especially prevalent in the inner city and amongst low income areas. 'Bad' food is generally Cheaper. How much is McDonalds? Dollar Menu? Can't fucking beat it. Spend $4 and eat like a champ..but it's the worst shit you can put into your body. When I lived in Pittsburgh, Top Ramen noodles, 7 packets for a DOLLAR. $1.

Then look at the other side of the spectrum: Whole Foods and Trader Joe's costs an absurd amount of money and it is generally food that is Good for you. Pack of Strawberries, $4. I at a box of strawberries the other day and went home and ate a Cornish Game Hen on Rice (I'm bad, don't judge me).

The middle of the chart is generic Stop and Shop, Price Rite, etc, where their food quality is good but people just don't know how to balance anything out. I say this like I'm a fucking nutritionist, but I'm not and I'm still fat but I at least try my hardest to stay away from shit that will kill me faster.

I still think the Body Mass Index scale is a fucking scam, though, 10 pounds overweight and you're obese. Doesn't make sense.
