Didnt post about it but yeah, theres a tech article in the last issue of CRAWL as well about lighting with my Jeep. This current issue was a suspension tech article.
Next issue will have a full feature article on the jeep itself, outlining its function as a "for-fun" rig as well as a media base of operations rig for covering comp events. and like Nicole said, Tim Diekmann's (LII) Blackbird article and the RCQ article were mine as well.
i was just in TN to shoot the cover of the next issue, as well as around 4 other feature articles/videos....also just had an article published in a New Zealand mag also I wrote about KOH. been a busy magazine month i guess
truthfully the leaf sliders work exactly as they should, i dig em.
my problem in the back of the jeep now is i just dont have enough up travel, which causes some bucking at speed, because of the fender clearance and the tires...i think my next major project on the jeep is opening those fenders some and re-doing the inner well to allow myself more uptravel with the tires, as that is truly my only limiting factor there (can move shocks up, can change bumpstops easily, so on.
in short the sliders work great, but i am definitely limiting their potential with my uptravel numbers (at speed im talkin)
Nice as usual, I keep missing out... I suscribed back in Jan and only got 2 issues (only got one, til I called)... Guess I will have to call again. What a shame, such a great mag!
