There's at least two in my area that just kinda tool around on-road at all times. One of them likes to do WOT runs, but it's ALWAYS perfectly polished.
I heard that the Raptor is replacing the Ranger, since the last year for the Ranger will be 2011. That is kind of a dumb move on Ford's part seeing how there is a huge price gap between the Ranger and Raptor as well as a size difference. I don't exactly view the Raptor as a compact pickup. There is a Raptor in my area with a huge shocker sticker on the back window.

Who ever told you that must be an idiot. The Raptor is a variant of the f150, its under f150 on their website. So basically they said ford is replacing the ranger with the F150... Wouldn't the v6 f150 replace the ranger more then the huge v8 equipped raptor?
Two raptors in town owned by docs that live a block apart. The trucks just sit parked, always clean, begging to be hammered on.
Maybe one day Cumberland will see a third that will break the trend.
Any one interested in a Long box Mega?

Fords R&D within their SVT section contacted me a while back and asked if they could try out the F-150 Raptor by following my Escort.... I never saw that thing after 2nd gear... Good looking truck though.
