automotive lifts sure are nice for alot of things, but not needed most of the time. I think ive replaced about everything in my jeep in a dirt driveway. axle swaps at night in 10degree weather etc make you and your jeep that much closer. one tip though. buy a blue tarp and lay it out before you start wrenching, so much easier to find that nut/washer/bolt that fell , when it doesnt blend in with the ground

driveways and jackstands? I could build a jet on a driveway with jackstands. Try railroad ties and field.
That being said, A few weeks back helped a friend lift a jeep on a lift. (so we could lift while we lifted) Holy fuckin nice.1993 XJ sport 3.5" rustys 33" MTZ's armored.

Haha this thread is too funny..But yea LiftedXJ, maybe ill let you know some time..I wanna do it this weekend, possibly start it tonight and finish Saturday morning before i work.
jeepkid03, a lift party would be funny haha. Your like only 35/40 minutes away though, i drive up to Storrs 3 days a week for class97 Chevy Blazer LT 2" Body lift, 2" Suspension lift, 31" General Grabbers AT2. Sold

Hmmm..that xj sounds familiar..I think I might have seen you around. I drive a 96 black xj classic, completely stock for now. I park in L lot right near farmer brown's parkin lot across from Huskies97 Chevy Blazer LT 2" Body lift, 2" Suspension lift, 31" General Grabbers AT2. Sold
