There is no name on it. I just stripped the gun down and pulled the trigger group apart because of Phil's comment lol. There's not many parts in there. I need to get some 1000 grit to polish up some bits! Im going to shoot it stock this weekend and try a poor mans trigger job and see if it helps.

Yeah, like I said, it's not that bad once you do it once or twice. Some people have problems getting the trigger and the sear all back in together since they are under spring tension and pivot on the same cross pin. I've done so many Ruger 10/22 trigger jobs that those trigger groups come apart and go back together with relative ease.Originally posted by CSaddict View PostThere is no name on it. If you want a real pain in the ass, do a trigger job on a Ruger #1.
Anyway, I plan on bringing both 45s (45 acp Kimber and .22 conversion top and 45 Colt Marlin) but debating on weather or not to bring the AR15 with its .22 conversion kit. Hurmmm.sigpic

I have the CMMG kit and haven't run it that much. We'll see.Originally posted by CSaddict View PostI would like to see the AR with the conversion. I was told by some guys at the club to be very selective on which conversion to buy because some of them aren't so hot. Recommend a brand Phil?sigpic

Phil if you have a trigger pull gauge I would be interested to see what my 10 22 is at after some of the polishing. I reshaped the return spring plunger as well as polished it. I've had this trigger group apart about 30 times now and have only shot the gun once. lol

You need to pull the trigger and let the hammer fall into the fired position, then install it and rock it into place.Originally posted by YJCrawler19 View Postthat and things were awesome till I tried to clean my mkiii for the first time... epic fail

Ive got the hammer forward, but for some reason I cant get the pin back in place... what a bitch! I even tried some bs thing for aligning the holes by putting the pin in from the top and wiggling it around (read about it online), but all that did was score the pin... so I had to polish it out, then try some more... Its really starting to piss me off
Why cant this thing just go together nice like everything else I own?!-Tim

I think I'm just going to take it to my buddy's gun shop and have them do it or give it to a smith... (hmm, not a bad idea... maybe a trigger job too) and have it set and then just leave it together (do basic cleaning with the breach open until it starts to get fussy)
never in my life have I had a gun this fussy... shoots nice tho-Tim
