Nothing at all. Its open though. and my wheeling style isnt that easy. I like to push my jeep into stuff so I know its limits. Usually I go fast down trails that I prob should take it easier on haha

97 TJ that I think is pretty neat.

I've never broken anything on my 30.
                  Probably because I don't really wheel hard and I has a 4cyl.
I wheeled for 3 years on 4.10s, open and 33s no problems, now I'm on 4.88s, open, 33s but have yet to wheel it. Debating about a locker but we'll see how she does open first

I'm open with 35's and 4.56's, i've only broken one axle shaft and that was in a parking lot doing donuts in 4low with the wheel all the way cut. 3rd gear, rev limiter.

I beat the ever loving piss out that front end. We'll see soon enough though, tossing a locker in for this season. I can pretty much garuntee though that shaft failure will go up. But maybe the added traction will reduce the urge to hammerdown as much
No worries, I'm not actually back, I'm just reminiscing about the old days.

It will, you can do so much more with a locked front. What about that short side shaft you picked up from me a few years ago, did u break a shaft or joint then?

that was a 260 size shaft, i still have it as a spare. I run the 297 shafts with spicer brand 760 u joints. They do hold up pretty well i will say that.
