  • Discovery Launch

I dunno what number, but the space shuttle discovery just launched at 1943.

During the launch it produces almost 7 millions lbs of thrust.

30 seconds in flight- 400 mph
3 minutes in flight- 5,000 mph
Approx 5 minutes in flight- 14,000 mph.
In orbit they travel 17,500 mph
