Opening the door for someone

So about half hour ago, I opened and held door open going into Bed Bath & Beyond for this girl, yes she was a hottie! I got the dirtiest look and not even a simple smile and a thank you. Seriously I don't care how great you looked in your Yoga pants-Maru you should have been there but FUCK YOU! Least she could have done is say THANK YOU!
Maybe it was my attire? I've been out in rain all day, beat to shit Carhartt overalls, muddy boots, haven't shaved in days, hardhat hair................

This is really true. I find the same thing at UConn. Sometimes I'll hold the door for someone and they will smile or say thanks, and other times I will hold the door for some chick (or even guys) and they give you a dirty look. This one snotty chick made me want to let go of the door so it slammed in her face.

My job is a campus mail carrier. I work with another kid my age and its surprising how many people will totally ignore you when you are holding a shitload of boxes. Even when theres lots of students going in and out of buildings rarely will they hold the door for us. Its not like it ruins my day or anything but shows how rude people are. Like I'm a foot behind you and carrying a shitload of stuff that probably weighs more than you do, hold the door before I drop these boxes on your face.

I hold the door for people within reason. If you are farther than 20ft I aint stopping for you. It doesn't bother me that people don't always thank me...I usually saw the car they came out of and add some pinstriping
