Looking at a few different sets of lights to put on my bumper and windshield. I think i have narrowed it down to the hella ff 500's or the procomp 130 watt lights. Anybody have any experience with either of these lights? Trying to get the best bang for my buck without breaking the bank.

The hella 500s are a decent set of lights but only 55 watts.... I run the Procomp 8" 130w on my bumper and they work awesome, they're a nice super bright set of lights but they are rock and branch magnets being 8" the 500s I ran for a while and have no complaints just watch glare with the 500s and be sure to get the driving set.https://sisoffroad.com/forums/core/i...smilies/us.gif 2017 Chevy Silverado 1500 https://sisoffroad.com/forums/core/i...smilies/us.gif

Same question here actually. I needed to decide between the 500's or the KC day lighters. I think I have decided on the day lighters as they look bad ass and are the best lights within one weeks pay . They supposedly put out almost 3x the light of the hella's in what I have read and in their lumens and candlepower ratings. Also I have heard a lot about how plastic and thin metal housing can smash and hurt the driver.Jeeps don't get stuck ... they just take a nap when they are tired of being awesome

I dont think I could lift them by myself. not because of the weight, but because they are that big and awkward. haha. maybe i'll throw them on this XJ a buddy of mine has... drill right through the hood."Watching you work on your Jeep is like watching a doctor operate on a cadaver...
It may be good practice, but in the end it won't do much good." -My Mother.
