Looking at a few different sets of lights to put on my bumper and windshield. I think i have narrowed it down to the hella ff 500's or the procomp 130 watt lights. Anybody have any experience with either of these lights? Trying to get the best bang for my buck without breaking the bank.

The hella 500s are a decent set of lights but only 55 watts.... I run the Procomp 8" 130w on my bumper and they work awesome, they're a nice super bright set of lights but they are rock and branch magnets being 8" the 500s I ran for a while and have no complaints just watch glare with the 500s and be sure to get the driving set.

Same question here actually. I needed to decide between the 500's or the KC day lighters. I think I have decided on the day lighters as they look bad ass and are the best lights within one weeks pay . They supposedly put out almost 3x the light of the hella's in what I have read and in their lumens and candlepower ratings. Also I have heard a lot about how plastic and thin metal housing can smash and hurt the driver.

not a fan of KC lites, for what youre paying you might as well pony up the little extra and get some lightforces

No no, i could only use so much spray paint before moisture built up on the insides So figured id spend more then 20 bucks on a pair of lights.

Theres probably about 3 or 4 pairs of them in the garage somewhere if you want them. Oh, theres also those big rectangle ones, you know, the ones that would make the front of your jeep sag severely. They might be hella's.

I dont think I could lift them by myself. not because of the weight, but because they are that big and awkward. haha. maybe i'll throw them on this XJ a buddy of mine has... drill right through the hood.
