I'm still working on my expensive piece of paper. Five, almost six, years later.

Shitty circumstances aside, I loved it. And despite being bored out of my mind throughout some of the classes, I actually learned some useful stuff.

I feel you on the pains of UConn. My senior year they decided to start rotating some required classes every other semester so that we had 12 people that weren't going to graduate from our major. We were luckily able to petition the course to be added back so I could get it in. This was also after they made me panic about finding an extra course because one of my business elective only counted as a regular elective. Then I was short a single credit to graduate, added a course to fix it and magically I was over on credits which at least meant dropping the most miserable Political Science class.

In the end, I've graduated, and have the degree to help my job hunt and/or further my career in my current company.

I never really had much interest in college before. I failed out of High School in 12th grade and just went to community college for some bullshit business major, I never really went to class though.

Failed that too and went to work for a while. After about a year of that I was like fuck working 60 hours a week only to make 450 bucks and fuck being a lazy idiot. So I decided to go back to school.

In school now for Automotive at a really good tech school. 95% of the graduating class is employed in the field immediately after graduation, for one thing you wont ever really find that sort of job availability in any other field but I can make ~45K right out of a 2 year school which is at least livable, my real goal is to open my own place as quick as I can save the money to. Plus as a resident of the state my tuition will be less than 10K for both years even if I take extra classes in the summer, not a bad deal, I feel sorry for people who spend 100K+ on these fancy ass degrees and then don't ever even find a decent job.

I actually kinda like going to school now that i've made the decision to do well. I even think I'm going to take some extra science and history classes just for the fun of it.

Apparently their automotive program is recognized nationwide as being really good.

Obama used it as a venue to talk about tech school education and a bunch of other shit last year. I remember because I actually went to class that day only to find out that the entire half of the school was closed because he was giving a speech.

                Yeah 2 year.

GM and Chrysler have programs, BMW did too I think until not that long ago. But you don't get sponsored or take special classes until your second semester, still deciding if I'm going to take one.

Do what ever other college kid does when they get bad news, drink your face off then worry about it in the morning
I don't always drink orange juice, but when I do, I prefer to chew it. #madpulp

I would if I didn't have to drive to and from school.

Clearly not getting the full college experience.
