  • My weekend went well!

Alright so it started with drinking again on Saturday night followed by waking up to 3 new people who I have no idea who they are/were very pissed off at me for no explicable reason. Slicing my thumb open to the point where it was moving in two distinct pieces. And then my Jeep caught on fire. Here is the main point of the fire, it is about mid way down the transmission (ax15) on the passenger side. It did not catch fire on it's own by the way an external ignition source caught it on fire. You can see a lot of rubber right there went up and is now melted badly. I took it for a quick drive around the block this morning and nothing bad to speak of but my question for you guys is: what is the thing that burnt? and is it okay to drive it/how should I fix it? here is a picture.
It looks like some rubber just melted but no damage to the wires or anything. Lots of other fun stuff got destroyed by putting it out though. Now you know why I quit drinking

it may not look like the wires were damaged, but you may want to look into replacing it regardless. if it caught because of a short then it could happen again

Oh no those 3 were just the top 3. Entire towns police force was after me for a while. I apparently broke up with my girlfriend. And I lost my keys somewhere on Sunday (still missing). I also think I broke my phone...the list is longer...
