I know this is official business nonsense press release stuff...but I had to post it here first. HMC was recently awarded the contract for directing, editing, and partially producing the 2011 King of the Hammers film in its entirety. We will be making the full DVD. This is the biggest accomplishment to date and I am super excited to be given the opportunity.

For Immediate Release:
HeavyMetalConcepts is excited to announce that they will be working with HammerKing Productions to create (direct and edit) the 2011 King of the Hammers film & DVD. HeavyMetalConcepts will be spending a week in February out in Johnson Valley, California, working with a mixed production crew to film the various events taking place, including the 4 Wheel Parts Last Chance Qualifier (LCQ), and the main race itself (Griffin King of the Hammers) on Friday, February 11th, 2011.
HeavyMetalConcepts, based out of Connecticut, has been filming and editing various events in the off-roading community since 2008. They have produced several DVDs, including films for both the 2009 and 2010 Right Coast Qualifier “RCQ” events held at Rausch Creek Off-Road Park in Pennsylvania.
Will Gentile, founder/creative director, feels that “this is a major step forward for HeavyMetalConcepts and a perfect venue and opportunity to showcase exactly what it is we are made of as a media production and media advertising business. We have come a long way in the past two years, producing our first DVD film as a company, or at all, all the way to atop rock sports now at Hammerking's King of the Hammers event in 2011.”
