  • ATTENTION NEWBS: WHEELING SPOTS IN THIS THREAD!!!!

    Just Kidding.

Do not post illegal wheeling spots or that you illegally wheel here or there, and that the cops dont care about this spot, yadda yadda. It does not fly here, and will be deleted. Our club name is not to be associated with illegal wheeling, what you do on your own time is your own business, but do not discuss it here in our public forum please, it does not bode well for us, not to mention the entire "sport".

With that said there is basically NO legal public wheeling in CT.

If you wouldnt say it (the wheeling discussion) to a police officer, dont say it in the forum, it is public, after all. If you think it is just the members who view this forum, you would be surprised.

thats common in that area -nice wide 2 car width dirt roads

If you look hard enough you can find some that are not well kept

but the point is no open illegal talk...

needs to be privately owned and you need permission to talk about it -at least in NY CT & MA anyway -not sure about VT NH or ME

i have never heard of any legal spots here in ct. nepaug state forest used to be open to the public for atv's, dirtbikes and any 4wd vehicle out there i believe but then people started to abuse the freedom to do this and well i believe it is not closed off to 4wd vehicles.

There are legal places to drive on dirt... they just don't require 4wd

                        ^----- that

i live on one of them- they actually gated off the middle section of my road where no houses are to keep people from using it. residents of the road have a key to the gate in case we need it in some emergency, but having the key doesn't give me the right to abuse it.
