Alright so i finally decided to put together my build thread.

It is a 95 Jeep Cherokee XJ Country
4.0, Aw4, 231, standard stuff.....
Currently:
rusty's 3" HD coils and 3.5" leafs
31x10.5 Dick Cepek FC-II's
Banditt Won-ton
Rubicon Express LCA's
Rough Country Adj Trac Bar
spicer 760x u-joints
spectre cold air intake
Front Tow hooks with Tomken Brackets, rear hooks with homemade nutserts

that pic is kinda old some of the new stuff isn't on there yet.

Stuff going on soon/ being built:
33x12.50 BFG MT KM2, fender trimming to follow
bumpstopping
4.56 gears, homemade 8.25 cover, solid dana 30 cover
Homemade rock sliders, waiting on the bolts from jcr then i just have to weld them up and bolt them on
powertrax or lincoln locker for the 8.25 pending money situation....
factory gas tank skid that i'm beefing up
homemade transfer case skid

way future plans(while i'm enjoying wheeling on my 33's ):
front hp44 (completely stripped at this point)
rear ford 8.8
5.13's probably
custom longarms with about 5 inches of lift
most likely 36's

will add more as my jeep grows in the next couple weeks

thanks guys and yea, i did it after i took the pictures. i was like heyyy this might not be a good thing here so i cut up to the welds and beat it down

picking up some lebaron vents tommorow and hopefully finishing my sliders before i leave for kentucky next week.

Alright so alittle update....
picked up and installed an xj dana 44.

Broke the transfer case linkage so i had to fix it...... used the same basic idea for the linkage from BS fab, except i just modified the exsisting shift bracket so i could make it work.






shift beautifully

some other updates......
dana 44 is in, disc brakes coming soon enough
jcr stage II sliders still waiting on delivery
t case skid, gas tank skid, and tnt crossmember also in the near future.

have you tested the linkage out while wheeling yet?

it appears we did the same thing on the t-case end, but when under heavy throttle it would pop out into neutral.

I ended up having to lengthen the body side lever to alleviate that issue.

yea it actually needs to be adjusted out alittle bit, it stays in 4L solidly but it actually doesn't like to stay in 2, like moving the shifter alittle pops it into 4H. which means i think i need to extend the link alittle bit, but other than that it works great so far

A quick little update on this thing.....

I installed the new rear axle with 4.56 gears, detroit locker, riddler diff cover, lube locker, and all new hardware. I love the way it drives, gears are amazing. period.
the front end is next, hopefully i'll have the gears next week and can pull it and get to work, gonna try to do this set-up on my own, while that's out i'm gonna weld on some HD lower control arm mounts and re-build the hubs.
Also a picture of the tnt crossmember and jcr sliders, which have since been installed.

putting new bearings in 'em and wheel studs, town fair overtorqued the living shit outta my lugs when they put my new tires on and it ruined the threads on a couple of them.
