    somebody told me a chevy pickup tow hook fits where my sway bar used to be anybody know what year for sure

    I think Andrew has one, he might know. I have some older Chevy ones in my basement, I'll go check if they fit.

        This one supposedly has a tow hook bracket on it.

          also true.

          Diz, probably a good idea to find a way to stiffen the front and mount a tow hook to something stronger so you don't rip it out. Look at how Otte's D-rings mount- should be able to build one of those dirt cheap.

                    The stock swaybar is two bolts on each frame rail. I wouldn't trust just two bolts holding my front recovery down. You can get oem front hooks for like $80 for a kit. And i believe c4x4 makes small dring ones that mount in the same spot too.

                      Diz, if you help me pull it off, you can borrow one of my hook brackets.

                        $50 I'll sell you my tow hooks with brackets that tie back into the frame past the steering box. Made by C4x4. I want them gone, PM if interested and you gotta pick them up by Wednesday because my ass will be out of the country
