(P0715) CODES!!!!

I was driving my jeep just casualy in downtown meriden and it started acting like i have the brakes applied while i was driving, very high resistance on the engine, almost full throttle to get it to move. I limped it to autozone and it got (P0715 Input/Turbine Speed Sensor Circuit Malfunction). would a sensor cause this or is it something in the transmission thats causing the sensor to trip . As far as I know The code P0715 or Speed Sensor Malfunctioning makes the tranny to shift at unregular rpms or downshift at any speed. This is also associated with the P0731, P0733, P0734 codes. Have the Speed sensor changed and that might solve your problem.Hope this helps you to solve out your problem .

Had it looked at at amco, it wasnt the sensor its actually the clutches and other soft parts in the tranny going bad
