both would be a very worthy mod..

im going to assume youre open/open

do you have a d35 in back? if so lock the d30 with an aussie.

if you have a 44 out back, lock that thing first IMO.

well, i've only been to rausch a few times and both would be a good choice...the first time i went i was glad i had sliders and the second time i went i was thrilled i had a locker...i went in october with a handful of tj's and most of them actually had no rocker protection and they were fine and we ran blues all day...

yes i still have a stock d30/d35 combo. I will be going to school in VT, for the next 4 years, and i know theres a of disputes about ice vs. locker. Thats kind of making me nervous about the locker.

tj rockers arent as vunerable as xj's due to the short wheelbase, but you will hate yourself if you mess up your tub. you will likely be fine as long as nobody spots you into some stupid shit.

            and lockers are sweet

                thats an overhyped internet myth.

use common sense when driving and slippery conditions and you will be fine

i say lock it, and be wary of your rocker panels..damage can be easily avoided if you care about it..or at least as long as you arent on a trail that is way beyond your rigs ability haha

                      get sliders after

Exactly what I was gonna say. The locker was the best mod I did. And yes just don't drive like an ass you will be fine in the snow. Oh and I believe a new D30 Aussie is 240 bucks. Go to Aussielocker.com

Aussies are supposed to be a little nicer for road driving.

I have one in the rear and besides once in a while I never notice it locking on the street.
