  • anyone have a problem using door trim for cut fender?

i bought door trim from pep boys and it looks good when you put it on but it never stays on...i tried putting on some rtv on the edge of the fender along the whole thing and that didnt work either...

thinking about gluing it with something unless anyone else has a better idea?

ive had the stuff on my cut down hood for over 2 years now, driven daily. i used clean rtv, cut the nozzle just slightly and squirt it inside the center of the door trim slit then wipe any extra away.

I used this stuff on my old cherokee... worked fucking awesome. never came off even with tire flecksing into the trim.

yea they had that at pep boys as well, but it was alittle too big for my liking...this stuff is perfect that im using it makes the cut look factory except it just wont stay on...
