  • cleaning up and polishing aluminum wheels.

I have some american racing bajas(polished aluminum) that i want to clean up...

what do you guys use to clean the suckers up. They have water spots and what i think is brake fluid greasey stuff caked on them... as I washed FIN* i noticed that it will take either a hellacious amount of good ol' elbow grease or some for of chemical that will eat the shit away...

    then recommend me a polish.

eagle one aluminum wheel cleaner, if that doesnt work mothers powercone for wheels, then use a protectant like RainX on them afterwards......

ohhhh jesus, i hate working at an auto parts store.
No worries, I'm not actually back, I'm just reminiscing about the old days.

if they're pitted you"ll have to wet sand them out and then polish them

I used the Mother's Powerball Mini and Mother's Powermetal Aluminum Polish on the rims I had on the GMC. Worked great, just took a little time depending on how bad they were.

verify there not clear coated, if not then just pick up a powerball and some aluminum polish. worked wonders for the wheels on my manche when i had it. it sat in a yard for years, looked like crap. they cleaned up pretty good though
