  • bearings?

so now that i have my ford 8.8 i am working on it obviously and was wondering what everyone would say about replacing the bearings? would i be able to tell by the sound? it's out of a 2000 so it is almost the newest you can get but still what does everyone think? and would that just be a master rebuild kit? any input appreciated.

I'd replace them. And they should be in a master install kit.

If you do a gear job, replace the bearings. If not, run it and see it makes any noise. No sense fixing what isn't broken.
