  • ford 8.8 tj brackets

i was just looking at the bracket kits for this swap, and do you need to get all of the brackets? perches, LCA, UCA, shock, sway bar and track bar brackets? this might be a dumb question but can any be reused on the axle already or anything like that or do i absolutely need to get the $250 set of brackets.

Do not re-use any of it.

          Buy new metal.

one other question, it's a little complicated.

ok so, i am trying to determine the pinion angle on the new axle for the welding to happen when it does, but i need numbers now for whoever welds it. i am on stock suspension now so i could set the angle up just the same as the D35 for the new axle. but seeing as how i will probably want a lift in the future, what if i set it up with the angle instead of being straight, being a little bent the other way? like upwards? so that when i did lift, the angle would straighten out and not be as bad of an angle.

i know this is confusing so if anyone can figure out what i am asking thanks.

point it at the tcase and then get adjustable control arms and you will be able to set the pinion angle how you see fit
