This morning I had change the oilfilter adapter orings because it had been leaking for a little under a year..
This was not an easy thing to do since there is limited space and the parts required were..
T-60 torx bit- atleast for a 96 XJ
rench to fit this-
orings ( can be had at the dealer for under 4 bucks)
can of brake clean-
what I did was took the torx out of the socket and use a 13mm gear rench with a pipe over it to break the seal, I then took the torx bit and put it in the rachet end of the rench with zipties at either end so it would slip off.
This is what has to be done unless you pull the motor or have the dealer tool.
