Depending on what you're looking to do with your rig, have you checked out ORI Struts? Every review I've read has nothing but awesome things to say about them.

They aren't exactly up to par with a nice coilover/air bump package are far as high speed stuff is concerned, but I think it's pretty neat how they are designed. They are similar to an air shock, except eliminate all the body roll. Basically, a built in sway bar. Also like an air shock, they have no need for any sort of bumpstop.

Only downside is the wait. Last I heard people were waiting around 12 weeks before they shipped. Not sure about pricing either, there is a guy on Pirate who sells them.

I figured they must, I've never seen any of the vendors publicly post prices.

I was planning on go with FOA if I was going to buy new, I've heard mixed things from them too but they are always on the forums and seam willing to help people out.

FOA states that they are no King shock but no where near the same money either.
If FOA is willing to help the sport out by sponsoring KOH etc. then I'm willing he help them out.

ORI Struts look like a good idea I might consider them. I've seen them on so many rigs at the RCQ I didn't even know what they were.

Especially reading no need to buy air bumps or sway bars, plus no need to buy new springs etc easily adjustable it might be well worth it to spend the money in the struts.

There is also a lot of coil over information on Racedezert.com do some searching.

I'm guessing the ORI has the same issues as any other air shock?

i imagine they do experience heat fade..but ive been told to a lesser degree/its less of an issue with em..honestly im no authority on ORIs, off the top of my head I know Lou Levy and Will Carter both swapped out ORIs for coilovers (levy went bilstein, i dunno which way carter went)

might wanna pick their brains (broncolou & indy will on pirate)

I found some good ORI Reads

After reading though most of these threads the only down fall I can see find is high speed whoops ORI do not rebound fast enough, ORI struts are not as good as fully tuned triple rate coil overs with bypass but I don't think I can figure out or have the time to tune all that. ORI are supposed to be easy to tune.

Most of the guys say they don't have heat or fading issues even in KOH racing.

I'm really considering ORI struts now no need to install bump stops limit straps or sway bars. Makes my life easier.
