doorless WJ mod need some help

summers coming and i want tobe able to take them off more easily...going to make two smaller disconnect harnesses for the wires instead of the bulky stock one...

my idea is to cut what looks to be a 5/16" pin out and replace it with these 5/16" linchpin type things i bought from ace...theyre the type of drop in pin with a lip uptop than a square bent wire that clips around the bottom of the pin...

heres some pics of the hinges you guys see an easier/better way to do it?

Your idea is pretty much the same way o executed my own, it's more of a pain then 96- XJ's but still doable

I sounds cool and I am wondering why there hasn’t been any news about this, other than some now becoming available supporting it. The somewhat large overall advance numbers seem too large to believe.
