don't you have to take good care of it? like if it rubs on rocks it gets easily frayed or something i heard? which means using the rash guard thing you get with it. but hey, even if it does break it doesn't have the potential to kill you in the process.

i upgraded to synthetic, worth it in weight savings off the front of the jeep. yea you have to be more careful of rubbing on rocks, but if it breaks it has no stored energy, just drops, and you can tie it back together and keep on winchin. plus no more being poked with frayed cables

it seems like there's good things about both kinds but the main reason why im looking into synthetic is the weight, with synthetic there barely is no weight on the front end.
