I have no experience with them. But people on NAXJA have used treadwright and have differing opinions. For the most part I think they would be ok to have.
I read a little but about them a while back. I believe that there not that bad of a tire , but the side wall strengh is questionable. The tires are made from different skins so you could get awsome tires that were made form the skin of lets say mtr/kevlar, or one thats not and sucks. There are reviews out there if ya look.
i have treadwrights. i have them in the goodyear mtr version wich im not shure if they make anymore.
good
-amazing deal
-seams to have a good tread life
-work pretty good offroad, very similar to any other mt.
bad
-kinda loud, not really that bad at all though
- i wouldnt drive to fast with them, they say like a 100 or something but i wouldnt go over 80.
-a little hard to balence.
if they made these in bigger sizes i would have bought them again,i like them alot.
97 zj- frankenstein 3.5", 35 stt's.
92 240sx- coilovers,full adj arms bla bla bla. 50trim t3/t04 soon
you can get the 33's but it has to be a 16 inch rim... and it'd completely defeat the purpose of buying treadwrights if you had to go get a set of 16s just to fit them. i had them in the stock size for a while and thye were halfway decent.
Dickerman, if you actually did get 22's for your XJ, you realize you'd be made to wheel with them right?

I dont get how it would defeat the purpose, but Thanks for the opinion on them, and I didn't really get 22's, I just have to jump up to 18's because it's all PepBoys had in stock.
it would defeat the purpose as you would be spending money to buy a whole new set of rims, offsetting the cost savings of getting retreads in the first place
