CPS Removal

Any tips on removing a CPS from my 99? It is a pain in the balls to get any sort of wrench on, and with extensions I cant get the tourque to break the bolts. Any tips please?

i used a bunch of extensions, had someone hold near the bolt and i jammed the ratchet down and they broke free

Get a girlfriend and have her reach down along the firewall to get it. They haz smaller parts than us.. usually.

it can be tight, but they are all doable

get every 7/16 or 11mm tool you own and figure out which combination fits best

I use 2 extensions with a swival joint and a long handle rachet, it was a pain but it worked, when you do get it out my advice would be to put antiseize on the bolts when you go to install them.

well caleb you take said ase certified mechanic me lol and get him to use said brain and drink a beer and he figures out to remove said front drive shaft and use one eight inch extension and ratchet to remove said cps in 5 minutes. in turn i recieve said 8.25 and said skid plate and i give you said 70 doll hairs said i hahahah what a great night that was

does this include recieving an XJ drivetrain to the forearm?

uhhhhhhh ya lol i'm laying under the jeep whole drivetrain weight being focused on the crossmember which is laying on my arm crushing it and caleb is in the garage thinking i'm joking what the hell
