Was sitting at a drivethru and at idle, engine starting vibrating and making a noise, wasnt sure what it was. Check gauges light came on and alternator wasnt charging. Drove 2 minutes home and at low speeds I would lose power steering also.
After closer inspection, it appears as my harmonic balancer failed, and separated. Anyone know what would cause this ? Or is it just a random parts failure that happens after 90,000 miles?
Video to see how loose it is.

Is this something I should just pull and replace?

Not the first one i've seen do that buddy, pull the 3 bolts get yoself a cheap puller for like 20 bucks and pull it using th eother 3 holes (the little ones) and put a new one on, make sure it seated tight though where its supposed to be. you could impact it on ot tourque it with a tourque wrench* *recommended way

.............. that thing is fuckeddddd like said b4 dont put a junkyard one on it could be almost at this point go with a new one
