P0700 tranny fault code

pulled this today- looked it up and it says "Aisin transmission controller has called for CEL" but it hasnt been shifting funny. any ideas?

random side note- it wasnt pulling a skip code, but when i had my reader plugged in and scanned for codes, it started skipping. the minute the reader was unplugged it went back to normal.

i had the same thing a few times and the only thing wrong is that my NSS is out of alignment. possibility?
