cutting up my rear alittle gonna use the cut and fold method and slap some trim on it...what did you guys use? i was thinking a jig saw or an air whiz wheel with cut off disc...

cutting my fenders in about an hour any tips?

I used a dremel with reinforced cut off wheels on my front fenders of my XJ, some people dont have the patience, but it came out extremely clean for me that way and that was how I wanted it, so i took my time to do it.
either way i wouldnt use a jig saw or sawzall or any kind of reciprocating saw, they tend to grab and shake the fender all over...not a great (accurate) sheetmetal tool IMO...spin wheels work nice
i also put down painters tape (the blue tape) over where i was going to cut, and cut through that, prevented flaking of the paint and potential small slips..and i was able to trace in sharpie the line i was going to follow on the tape.
i dont know how a WJs front fenders are constructed, but hopefully this method can crossover to help you.

thanks, yea the front is alittle easier, there are some thick parts that will most likely require a sawzall, but im holding off on that..today im doing the rear since i want to start my bumper i need to have the fender lines all ready..
i agree about the jig saw my dad said to use it i was like hmm i dont think that will work out well...im gonna use the cut off disc using painters tape and go nice and slow...
nyone have any experience putting in the relief cuts and folding the outer lip over the inner lip?-Jason
