there's nothing really wrong with having it dump there. although over time it will heat up the axle tubes and decrease the life of the gear oil

i dont think the exhaust fumes get hot enough to melt a brake line or anything correct? i still need to put another hanger on it bangs on my skid plates when i hit a decent bump..im gonna see if i can make something happen this weekend maybe shorten the pipe before the muffler...
WAY too close for my liking

my exhaust was about 2 feet from my gas tank and boiled it on the highway, blew out my gas cap

i love my exhaust although its not quiet at all (spintech muffler) although make sure its on good. I quickly clamped it on when i first got it for a trail run and by the time i was done it fell off, Corey found it and thought he scored a schweet muffler

do what do you guys recommend? i feel like my new plan is buy a new center pipe and cut before the muffler, move it back a tad and then aim the turn down outwards towards the passenger side?

i just wanwt to say thank you sis...i played with my exhaust a bit today and was able to move the turndown about ~6-8 inches back from where it was right near the axle tube...checked my rear diff fluid almost a full quart low...

whether or not this was from the exhaust heating up the tube or not idk but as far as i know i changed the fluid last june and there wasnt any leaks?
